Hotel restaurant service was absolutely terrible. We waited 18 minutes until someone took our food order. When we flagged down the woman who looked like the manager, she seemed annoyed that we flagged her down and she told us that our waiter would be right with us. I told her that we had been there for over 15 minutes. She then took our order abruptly and stormed off.
On this visit, we celebrated our wedding anniversary with a formal three-course dinner at Sinclair's restaurant followed with coffee and the most scrumptious of holiday desserts. The service was flawless and the food was impeccable. Before dinner, we enjoyed cocktails under the atrium as we gazed upon the beautiful Christmas tree. Thank you for once again offering a magical evening to a couple in love!
Gorgeous rooms. Christmas decorations were wonderful. We had a room looking in to the interior of the massive dome, which was a treat. Check-in and out was a breeze, restaurant was delicious. Fantastic steak and eggs. Can't recommend enough.
This place is amazing! Rooms are beautiful, service is excellent, and the Dome/Atrium is spectacular. Truly an architectural and engineering marvel nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of southwestern Indiana. Beautiful golf courses, river boat casino, train rides, indoor water parks, and kart racing provide enjoyment for the entire family. A great destination and get away!
We were hardly ever checked on after that. Probably never returning because we didn’t feel welcome whatsoever. Went to the winery down the road and made small talk with people about the hotel, and they said they never hear good things about the service at the hotel. Not a good rep.
Thankgiving buffet is amazing. I'd definitely recommend it, but be warned. You need to plan a reservation months in advance to be able to eat at the buffet. Buffet includes prime rib, dessert bar, salad/soup bar, seafood section, and of course all the classic thanksgiving flavors. Very, very nice.
My favorite of the two hotels in French Lick. Gorgeous dome and beautiful architecture. Christmas time, the huge free is put up and as usual, it looks phenomenal, towering over. The soft lighting and lounges give a very relax feel to this elegant hotel.
